Making my card! It was fun I enjoyed it, cause I could find any picture I wanted and make it into a stamp. To do that I opened a photo, I’ll refer to my guitar, the blue one, I opened that photo and I didn’t want the white background just the guitar so I used the magic wand tool and selected the guitar. I then went to edit and hit define brush preset and named the brush Guitar. I went back to my other 6x4 photo that I made with a background of a photo of music notes and had my name on it, I went and opened my brushes and there was the brush I made. I stamped it on there. So what I had now was the music notes background and my name, and now my blue guitar. I did the same thing with all my other stamps. My guitar with wings, to make that that way I found a picture of piano keys and a rose on Google, I opened that file and selected the photo and dragged it over to my card. I then placed it atop the guitar then went to layers on the bar thing and hit create clipping mask or an easier way to do that is alt + ctrl + G. I moved the picture around a bit till it fit behind my guitar good. I also messed with the vibrance and turned that up cause it makes a deeper red on the hearts with wings. With each new thing I did I made a new layer that way I could change things without changing the whole card. I like my card, it represents me and my love of music, and my love of bright colors.
I'll change my profile alot, cause I get bored of it really fast!! So expect different every time you enter my world!! I mostly take pictures of nature. I love catching the beauty.Pitcures are an amazing way to caputure a moment and keep it frozen forever in that single frame.

Flyer
Creating my flyer wasn’t as easy as I hoped but in the end I think it turned out alright. I have a lot of photos of horses, I know and have worked with, saved in my pictures. So I started with opening a page and making the background black. Though I had to later change it because Ms.Minkel I guess doesn’t like black J pssh I do! I then opened another page and loaded my first picture of Arabella the gray Arabian, I extracted her by selecting her and than dragged her to the plain black page, I transformed her size so she fit right just like I learned in the tutorials. I then closed the page with the horse and opened another one with Covert Operations the black and white quarter horse. Again I selected and extracted him and dragged him up and placed him in the photo, repeating the same process. Again and again I did this with BuckShot, Wounded Solder and my dog Shiloh . Over and over I made them fit perfectly in my flyer. I then went to http://www.brushezzy.com/ and downloaded some brushes of lightning, trees, and random swirls which a plopped around my flyer. It gave it some color which I liked. I then put in some text and what not later on by using the text option. I rather enjoy it I think it turned out really good.

Photo choice #1
This photo is of my horse BuckShot, I took it the weekend of 10-2-10 in my pasture. this is the original photo no editing or anything.
This is the edited photo, I took out the branches around his chest and ear with the clone tool. I also made him have more hair :) He is a little self conscious about his lack of mane. In doing that I cloned his hair and WA LA he has more! Also I selected Buck and hit inverse and changed the levels in the background. I like the edited one better do to the fact that the branches dont stick out and draw your attention. Also I like the darker background cause Buck stands out more and it looks better.

Scale
This is my scale photo. Its Shiloh up against Wiley my sheltie and my german shephered.
I took this photo on smile mode, cause I swear Wiley smiles! The photo was taken on October 10th.
Now I wanted the photo more focused on the the dogs, so I cropped it and got the dogs in it more. Then I hightened the levels and the curves. Of course I took out my shadow :) didnt want that in there. I like the fixed one alot more, More of my pups in that one!! And it looks better darker!

Lines
Its Lines!! I took this picture during the week of 10-something-or another. When the art class went ouside to take pictures, it is a picture of being up-close and personal with Ms.Buckleys bike! Here it is!-----
And being who I am I didnt think the picture was dark enough so I darkened it up a wee bit with the levels and the curves and what not. See that bar? right in front of the tire! Yea I didnt like it very much cause it looks dirty so I took it out, Just dont tell Ms.Buckley :) O and I took out the leaves and random junk, with the stamp tool (that tool is my favorite!!) So yea my guess is you wanna see the other one now huh? O and I like the fixed one better cause its darker. Here it is!!!-----

CityScape
I took this picture in St.Cloud on MEA weekend. (Cant remember the date of that) I was in the back seat of the car and remembered I needed to take some of a city! So I did, using Landscape mode!
Now you must admit that the truck was very POW HERE I AM!! so I cropped the picture taking out the truck and some of the road and what not. Then I edited the color blance turning the red up and the green and yellow down a bit, kinda makes it look like a water color panting! The vibrance was messed with a bit also turning that up. And also the contrast was hightened a wee bit also.
I like this one better because the truck isnt in the way and isnt so distracting! THAT was the word I was looking for at the top sentence! O well I like the sentence the way it is!!

City Scape
This photo was taken on October 22nd 2010 in St.Cloud mn this is the Minnesota Correctional Facility. I took this while on my way to Becker mn to visit some family. The mode was Landscape.
This is my edited one. I changed the levels to darker in the Image menu. Then I used the stamp tool to take out the tree located on the left, the water tower, and the other random poll. Later I changed the density to 100% which makes it yellow. I really like this one because it looks old. And for some reason in my head a picture of a prison is supposed to look old.
SKy EMphasis! (secretly that says SKEM!!!!)
This was taken just this morning on my way to school, I had my camera in my coat pocket and saw the sunrise! So I grabbed it and took a photo. I took multiple but this one is my favorite, O and the date is October 20th 2010 and the mode was Landscape. This photo is a sky emphasis because the sky takes up more then half the photo. If the ground took up more then half then it would be considered a ground emphasis.
Here is my edited one, I really liked this photo so I didn't change much. Just the Levels a little higher in the image menu. And the Curves in the adjustments menu are higher. I really like the edited one because it looks like something you would see out of the Savanna. I think the orange and red are very intriguing.

Landscape Sky Emphasis.
This is my Sky Emphasis, notice how the sky takes up more of the picture then the land/water does? That is what makes it a Sky Emphasis photo.
This photo is taken at Itasca State Park on September 29th 2010.
Setting was Landscape.
I had a little fun with this photo. I changed the Hue/Saturation in the adjustments bar loctated on the right of the screen. I also changed the color balance. I like this one better seeing as how it reminds me of cotton candy :) and it looks alot more happy!
Landscape Ground Emphasis.
This photo I took in September some time, the date I am not sure what it was, I belive it might have been the 11th. Around there somewhere. I know its on my property in the back 20 acrs.
This is Ground Emphasis because the ground goes past the middle of the picture, in this picture the ground is 90% of it.
Being who I am I turned it black and white. I rather enjoy black and white photos due to the fact they draw you in. I went to adjustments on the side bar and clicked black and white. As usual theres alot of green in this photo so I made the green darker then everything else. I like the black and white one better, and my reason behind that is theres less color (duh!). When i look at a photo I like to see the things in the photo, I like to see the reason the person took that photo and when there is a alot of color you look at the color not the objects in the photo. Atleast I do anyway. What you see is up to you.

Black and white WITH COLOR!!!
This is a Mushroom, as I belive you have noticed! I took this photo on Micro setting, during the day of 10-01-10. I was located on my property.
Here is my black and white. In this nothing was selected when I went to adjustments and clicked black and white.
Now in this image I selected the mushroom, since it is such a pretty color I didnt want to change it. So i hit inverse, located in the select bar. In doing that everything else would change but the Mushroom. i then changed the background to black and white. By going to the adjustments bar and hitting "black and white" but I wanted the green to be a little more standing out so that one is higher then the others. On the top picture you might have noticed that there are strands of grass over the shroom. To get rid of those i took the stamp tool and stamped them out. I like the black and white one alot. it draws attention to the shroom.

Photo clean up!
This is a photo of Wounded Solder my friends horse. Reason for name was he almost died at birth he isnt hurt now its just his name.
I took this photo last week which would have been the 10-16-10, I used face detector which works on animals. I thought that was pretty cool!
This is my corrected one! I cropped in, so that its more focused on Solder, I took out the buckets in the background, the car located in back, and also changed the red gate to look like the boards.
I really like this one better since you pay more attention to Solder then to the random stuff around him. I used the magic wand tool to make sure what i was changing was the only thing i was changing. i then used the stamp tool to stamp over the other things.

Here is the original photo taken at a farm I worked at, I took this photo on October ninth, in Nevis MN. The horses name is Covert Operations aka Covert.
I cropped the photo so my friend wasnt in there anymore, and I then changed it to black and white. I made the red levels darker and the yellow and green levels lighter, blue levels darker. I think it looks so so wicked! I am proud!
AND THIS IS THE FINISHED ONE!!

Color Corrected.
This is of my friend Waylan, picture was taken 9-11-10 in Nevis Mn. mode was smile, my camara does its own mode settings by itself and doesnt have a sports setting.
This is the edited picture, I adjusted the levels to make it darker and make the bike pop more. I also took out the houses and stuff in the backround so they didnt distract from the bike. in doing that i just used the earaser tool.
Then this one is the edited and color corrected photo, all I did was change the color of the bike from green to blue.

Mounted Posse Outing (edited)
Same Photo Same time same place, i enhanced the levels to make the photo alittle darker. i think with it darker it brings out the shadows and the muscles of the horse.
Mounted Posse outing.
9-12-2010 Lake george mn. Mounted Posse HQ.
used smile detector and no flash.
this picture is not edited.

Straight VS Angle
Used the smile mode, this is of my dog Shiloh, the picture was taken on 9-8-10
(steps) the top photo is the uncorrected photo, one under is corrected. i darkened the levels and made his eye lashes pop out more. i also made his eye darker.
(reflection) i like the corrected one cause it brings out his cheek bones more and makes him more noticeable. and he doesnt look sick like he does in the uncorrected.
This would be the Angle Shot.
Same info
This is the straight on shot.
